Howard Women's Basketball Secures MEAC Regular Season Title, Top Seed in Tournament

NORFOLK, Va., March 5, 2026 – In a resounding display of dominance, the Howard University women's basketball team has clinched the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) regular-season title, securing the coveted No. 1 seed in the upcoming 2026 MEAC Basketball Tournament.

The Bison capped off their impressive 13-1 conference record with a decisive 74-59 victory over Norfolk State, solidifying their position atop the MEAC standings. This achievement marks a significant milestone for the Howard program, as they reclaim the conference's top spot after a strong season.
