Morgan State and Norfolk State Set for MEAC Women

The stage is set for an exciting MEAC Women's Tennis Championship final as the top two seeds advanced through day two of competition in Cary, North Carolina.

Morgan State Bears and Norfolk State Spartans both secured their spots in Saturday's title match, which is scheduled for 12 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Championship Details: The MEAC Women's Tennis Championship final between Morgan State and Norfolk State will take place at 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2026, in Cary, N.C., with live streaming available on ESPN+.

The semifinals results on Friday confirmed what many expected heading into the tournament, as both top-seeded programs advanced to compete for the conference crown.



The Bears and Spartans navigated through their respective semifinal matches to earn the right to face each other in the championship round.

For both programs, the championship match represents an opportunity to claim conference supremacy and showcase the elite level of women's tennis being played at HBCUs. The winner will be crowned 2026 MEAC Women's Tennis Champion and continue the proud tradition of excellence in HBCU athletics.
