Why!?!?!

Why!?!?!
Posted By: Robert J. Johnson on July 05, 2006

I am for once tired of this mess. I'm tired of our African American males takin eachother out.

Okay, this is where this is coming from.

I live in the country part of Maryland, where nothing really happens but a deer getting hit by a car. Yesterday....July 4th, there was a shooting up the street from my house and second job. Two ppl were killed. One of the ppl that was killed was a friend of mine's Uncle. He was at the right place at the wrong time. Being the nice person he is, He was only tryin to stop a fight and a argument....

The dude turned on him and shot him point blank...dead. Then killed the other dude.

The story to that side is that the dude that was killed was seeing some older women. Her son (the killer) told the man that he didn't want him seein his mother no more....so The MOTHER set the dude up to have her SON kill him. First of all what kind of mother would do some Bull Sh*t like that!!?! I mean Lord Mercy.

so.....

Yeah...I'm so sick and tired of all this not needed violence. Why must we look for a Gun to kill another human? Why do even have to go that far over something that wasn't that serious?

I for one am tired of it, and If i had the power to stop it, Trust me It'll be all ova!

God Bless the affected families of this tragic shootin on July 4, 2006....

That's a damn shame....like I have always said....even if we were oppressed by others in the past....we are oppressing ourselves now. It's time for all of my brothers to step back up to the plate....like it used to be....and I mean in the home...the street...the church....everywhere. It's up to us whether or not we'll ever TRULY reach success....

Great to see people exude care and concern for others in a world that tries to deter that.
Keep up the great work Bro.
Thats Greatness.

I'm so sorry that happened...and is happening everywhere. This is all a product of an uncaring society. It is only a matter of time before these pressures blow up and overthrow the wickedness of these times. Don't worry. The world is going to change, and these things will get better. Revolution and evolution are forever in the wind.

I agree with you 100%. It's ridiculus to see the black youth killing each other off. Our culture still has so much potential to be more than great, but we seem to be on self-desrtuctive auto-pilot. We kill out of habit because our history is full of spilt black blood. We have an overall mentailty that has not progressed over the decades after slavery. We college students are the future no matter how corny it sounds and we have to make it happen for ourselves.

That's crazy. I completely sympathize for the family of the victims also. I can relate to the story to an degree. My dad was shot, point blink in front of my house because he decided to break up a fight. He felt he had young children at the time and they needed to take it some other place. Instead of leaving, he turned around and shot my dad. He's still living, god bless. But unfortuante **** like that happens every day, as crazy as it is.

My god sister was murder last year. She was raped, strangle, drugged in a basement, tied up, then wrapped in a carpet and left for over night. The original plan was to burn her body, but it rained that day so instead, in broad day light, he drugged her body a few blocks from his house and stuck her in a basement window to an abandon store.

Why was she murdered? Well, he didn't like her. he always tried to talk to her but she was dealing with his friend. And out of envy, he killed her when his friend was out of town.

I grew up in a hard part of philly. The heart of it. I saw people get shot feet from me. I've been robbed myself. So i know first hand how ridculous it is when i see young people, people i called friends, family, get murder for dumb ****.

If it was up to me, i will evaporate all the guns on this earth, make evil souls vanish and pray for the next generation. You're right, something has to stop this. It has to come to an end someday.
