Tennessee State University Announces Fall 2026 Career Expo — Employers Invited to "Lock In" This September

Tennessee State University is calling on employer partners nationwide to connect with its talented students and alumni at the Fall 2026 Career Expo, taking place on Thursday, September 24, 2026. Hosted by the university's Career Development Center, this year's expo — themed the "Lock In" — promises another impactful day of recruiting, networking, and relationship-building on TSU's Nashville campus.

As one of the nation's premier Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Tennessee's only state-funded HBCU, TSU is home to a diverse and highly skilled talent pool spanning business, engineering, agriculture, health sciences, education, communications, technology, and the liberal arts. For organizations committed to building a pipeline of exceptional, career-ready professionals, the Career Expo offers direct access to students and alumni who are eager to make an impact.

The university has designed registration packages to fit every kind of organization — with tailored options for corporate, government, nonprofit, and alumni employers.

Beyond standard registration, TSU is also offering sponsorship opportunities for organizations that want to elevate their presence and deepen their connection to the campus community. Sponsorships are available across four tiers — Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze — and include benefits such as scholarship contributions that support TSU students directly, premium booth placement, advertising opportunities, social media visibility, special recognition, and exclusive networking experiences. Employers are encouraged to register early, as space is limited and the deadline is firm. Please note that registration will not be approved until payment has been completed, so organizations should be sure to submit payment to finalize participation. Any organization with an existing agreement with the Career Development Center or the University regarding waived fees or other career fair services should contact the TSU team to discuss terms prior to registration approval.
