You are invited to join the Office of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management on Friday, August 14, at 4 p.m. in the Jones Brothers HPER Gymnasium for the Fall 2026 Freshman Induction Ceremony. The Freshman Induction Ceremony is one of ASU’s proudest traditions. It is a formal event to welcome incoming first-year students into the RAMily. Let’s join together to show appreciation to the newest Rams for choosing Albany State University! The ceremony will also be available to view online via ASU YouTube. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Patrice Jackson, an educator of almost 25 years and an executive coach for more than 10 years. She holds a doctoral degree in Education Administration, served in executive leadership at colleges and universities, and facilitated leadership training as a faculty member for the Center for Creative Leadership. Dr. Jackson worked in higher education at many levels, from student assistant to President’s Cabinet and is the recipient of several professional awards and accolades.
