Posted By: Deloris Lucas on August 10, 2026 On June 26,2026 We Keep You Rollin'(WKYR), NFP awarded the Divvy/Lyft Community Partner Award, for our Advocacy work with Bicycle & Pedestrian Safety,Transportation & Equity in Infrastructure. Honored for 13 years of Impact in the citywide Bikeshare Program in Chicago Illinois. Especially represented the Environmental Justice area called Riverdale Community #54 on the far south side. Included these neighborhoods: Golden Gate, Altgeld Gardens, Hegwisch, Roseland, Pullman& others. See Below sign-- WKYR honored with a New Wayfinding Community sign. Sign includes a map of the proposed Bike Trail, "The 130th Street Sidepath", which is in Phase I with Chicago Dept. Of Transportation (CDOT). As the trail goes east it will connect to the Red Line Extention (RLE) to 130th. RLE is a approx. a $5.7 billion project, to be completed in 2030. Going west the trail will connect to the Major Taylor Bike Trail. Contact me for more info. So much to share.
