Posted By: rickey johnson on August 29, 2026 Pamela Kelly Introduces a Game‑Changing Preparedness Cookie — And a Powerful Fundraising Opportunity for Non‑Profits Pamela Kelly, CEO of Century 5‑10‑10‑75 LLC and founder of Gobay’s Ginger Snaps, has launched something refreshingly different in the world of healthy snacks and emergency readiness: a vegan, gluten‑free, dairy‑free, refined‑sugar‑free, protein‑enriched ginger snap cookie designed specifically with preparedness in mind. And yes — it’s delicious. But beyond taste, Kelly’s creation is poised to become a high‑impact fundraising engine for non‑profit organizations across the country. A Health‑Forward Cookie With a Purpose Gobay’s Ginger Snaps were born from necessity and love. As caregiver for her mother, Kelly needed a cookie that met strict dietary needs without sacrificing flavor. The result is a clean‑ingredient ginger snap made with: Oat flour Date powder Unsulphured blackstrap molasses Avocado oil Pea protein Organic ground flaxseed Ginger (ground + dehydrated rhizome) Cinnamon & cloves No dairy. No gluten. No refined sugar. No soy. No tree nuts. These cookies are crafted in licensed commercial kitchens and built around the brand’s core promise: “Heritage Baked In. Preparedness Built In.” Why They Belong in Every “Bug‑Out” Kit Gobay’s Ginger Snaps are intentionally formulated as low‑moisture, giving them a naturally longer shelf life — a critical factor for emergency kits, disaster preparedness bags, and “bug‑out” kits. Preparedness families often struggle to find shelf‑stable foods that are: Healthy Vegan Affordable Comforting Nutrient‑dense Kelly’s cookies check every box. They provide quick energy, clean ingredients, and a nostalgic flavor that brings comfort during stressful situations — a small but meaningful psychological boost in emergency scenarios. A Fundraising Opportunity Built for Non‑Profits Gobay’s Ginger Snaps aren’t just a product — they’re a movement. Kelly’s pre‑launch model invites supporters to become Founding Patrons, purchasing test sample bags and providing feedback. Each pre‑launch package includes: 10 cookies (two varieties) A second complimentary “market‑ready” package in 2027 A unique referral code for additional benefits Tax‑deductible support for businesses with an EIN Pre‑launch packages are $25, plus tax and fulfillment. This structure creates a ready‑made fundraising system for non‑profits: ✔ High perceived value A specialty, health‑focused product with a compelling story. ✔ Mission alignment Perfect for organizations focused on health, community uplift, preparedness, or family support. ✔ Easy distribution Shelf‑stable, lightweight, and shippable nationwide. ✔ Built‑in narrative Non‑profits can rally supporters around preparedness, wellness, and supporting a woman‑led, purpose‑driven brand. ✔ Repeat engagement Founding Patrons receive future product — keeping donors connected. Honoring “Gobay” — A Legacy of Love The brand is named after Kelly’s mother, Esther “Gobay” Kelly, whose joyful question — “Are they done yet?” — became the heartbeat of the company. Every cookie carries that heritage forward. A Perfect Partnership for Non‑Profits For organizations seeking a fundraiser that is: Unique Health‑conscious Mission‑aligned Easy to promote Emotionally resonant Preparedness‑friendly Gobay’s Ginger Snaps offer a standout opportunity. Non‑profits can position the cookies as: A preparedness essential A healthy alternative snack A support‑the‑mission purchase A community‑building product A legacy‑honoring story And because the cookies are vegan, gluten‑free, dairy‑free, and refined‑sugar‑free, they appeal to a wide audience — increasing fundraising reach. The Movement Ahead Kelly’s vision is clear: Build a nationwide community of ginger snap lovers who support preparedness, wellness, and purpose‑driven entrepreneurship. With thousands of Founding Patrons, Gobay’s Ginger Snaps will expand across America — and non‑profits can be part of that growth from the beginning. https://www.gobaysgingersnaps.com/ If you enjoyed this article, Join HBCU CONNECT today for similar content and opportunities via email! |
