Posted By: HBCU CONNECT on October 07, 2026 Check out this video from Cheyney University of Pennsylvania in Cheyney, Pennsylvania! Absolutely. I’d make it feel ceremonial, rooted in HBCU tradition, and less like a standard student event description: Join Cheyney University for **Royalty on the Bayou**, the 2026 Coronation of Mister and Miss Cheyney University and the Royal Court. Rooted in the rich tradition of HBCU royalty, this ceremonial evening celebrates leadership, scholarship, service, elegance, and the legacy of students chosen to represent the University with distinction. Witness the official crowning of **Khai’e Davies, 14th Mister Cheyney University of PA, and Na’Jah Brown, 54th Miss Cheyney University of PA**, alongside the presentation of the 2026–2027 Royal Court. Through pageantry, tradition, and celebration, the evening honors the responsibility of student royalty to serve as ambassadors of Cheyney University and carry forward the pride and legacy of The First HBCU. **Royalty on the Bayou** Wednesday, October 7, 2026 Marian Anderson Auditorium Doors Open: 6:30 PM | Program Begins: 7:00 PM This is a student-produced experience.
