LG Electronics' is Hiring In Their New Virginia Location - Interview Before November!

LG Electronics

FEATURED Content

If you lead from the line and want to help build something from the ground up, this one is worth a look. LG Electronics is opening a brand-new manufacturing plant in Windsor, Virginia, and is hiring eight Production Team Leads to help stand it up.

The plant will assemble commercial chillers. As a Production Team Lead you would run a team on that line — coaching and developing your people, working hands-on at any station, championing safety, taking pride in quality, and acting as the go-to partner connecting your team with engineering, quality and maintenance.

This is not stepping into someone else’s playbook. As one of the plant’s first leaders, you would help shape the culture, routines and standards of a world-class facility from day one, with the backing of a global leader in innovation.

The details

  • Pay: $23 – $28 per hour
  • Schedule: First shift, Monday through Friday
  • Openings: 8
  • Location: Windsor, Virginia (Isle of Wight County, about 30 minutes from Suffolk)
  • Start date: The hiring team needs people who can start in November
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision and prescription coverage with no-cost employee premiums, 401(k) with company match, generous paid time off, paid parental leave, and life and disability insurance

What they are looking for

  • 3+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience
  • 1+ years of demonstrated experience leading a team to successfully achieve goals
  • A passion for safety, quality, and helping others grow
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
  • Comfort with hands-on equipment setup and troubleshooting
  • Experience with lean tools (5S, kaizen, standard work) is a plus

One requirement that is not in the public posting

The hiring team asked us to pass this along directly: you need a valid passport. The role involves international travel and some training may take place in another country, so prior experience travelling abroad is helpful. If you do not hold a current passport, start that process now.
