Posted By: Robert J. Johnson on July 20, 2006 Alright, this is the issue of the night/week... I took a visit to Morgan State University on July 10th to get registered for classes and everything. It was going great unitl the time to sit at the computer to use my student ID number to log in to register for class.... The first problem pops up...My studend ID number wasn't even my correct number. So I had to go through 3 hours of waiting and talking to everyone and they grandparents to get the correct ID number to get registered for class. So that issue got fixed. Now I'm traveling accross the world to get to the financial aid building to submit paper's and find out what I have been awarded for the academic year....WHY come they didn't even review my FAFSA. But gladdly accepted my scholarship money that I recieved from outside sources. So they tell me to wait til that following friday to get an award letter...Friday has loooooooooong passed. Its now Thursday, July 20, 2006. Still haven't gotten an award letter or what not. So I called and talk to this nice lady who actually was explained the whole proccess of why I haven't been reviewed. And from what she was tellin me, this process is mad long. So now she made me feel somewhat better. But still...School will be starting within a couple of weeks. And this kind of stuff should work like clock work. It should have been completed and er'thing in the middle. Now i have to wait to see if they done gave my room away b/c Morgan don't give out rooms until the money is there. I know the money will be there, but Morgan takin fo'eva to get this up and running (although i do understand about getting a new system to learn and work) but this is truely out of control. If i had know Morgan would be like this...Lawd know's i'd went to another school outside of Maryland/Delaware/Va area. But as usual, I trust in God to make a way for this financial status of mine to be handled. As usual, God always makes a way for things to happen in our favor. And with this one, I trust and believe that this will be done for me. Well i'm outta here, Be continued Blessed. ..........oh yeah! I almost fo'got For those who read the Bible (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth) U would know that Jesus will be soon returning to take us home. Isreal is under an attack, which is spoken about in the Bible. Once this has taken place, it's only a matter of time before the Anti Christ show's face and Jesus returns to save us from this place. I ask all that read this, To please find your way back to God. He awaits for u with OPEN ARMS. He's wanting to clean your heart/soul/spirits of anything that isn't suppose to be there. God is a loving caring, and Forgiving God. Ask him for forgiveness and you will be forgiven. There's no reason to live in hell (earth) to die and go to hell. the Devil is always out to seek us and help us continue to do wrong. But I rebuke the Devil everyday, And i most def rebuke his demonic spirts from touching/harming my friends and family. And as of now, I will continue to rebuke the Devil from all, because he truely has no place with us. I urge u to find it in your hearts to find Jesus. B/c he awaits for u, and u still have some time to get it right with him so that u wont miss the rapture when it takes place. God be with you all, Be blessed! Most college registrations are loaded with some sort of time-consuming experience - It's just a matter of hanging in there (with prayer). But also, it's important that you keep abreast of ALL of the "people in the know," i.e. do the leg work (as you stated you've done) to any and all resources that will connect the dots for your attendance at your chosen institution of higher learning. I agree with the statement above. No matter what school you attend, it's always going to be a long process when dealing with financical aid. As long as you know, and they know the award money is there for you, you should be cool. Good thing for you, morgan has a roll in bases. Therefor even if you received your money late, they will allow you to take classes. And if they know that alot of the wait is because they messed up on your part, then it seems like they should be obligated to hold a spot for you. I have faith that everything will turn out good. Just imagine if you would have waited until introduction week, aug 20th-25th, to start all your paper work like alot of people are planning on doing. So just the fact that you started early is a blessing right there. Things could always be worst. The fact is, you still have time and things will soon come your way. Talk to you soon, and stop being a stranger, lol.
