Posted By: VICSKEYAS MOORE on August 07, 2006 Hello All, It's been a long time. I have been very, very busy! But I have missed you all and your comments. I hope you all enjoy this blog and as always I love feedback! Okay...VH1 has done it again.........The Flava of Love!!!! Last night, I saw the season premiere of what has to be the most.....interesting show I have ever seen. I thought the Bachelor was bad........this is by far the most hopeless venture for true love that television has ever explored. I watched last season faithfully every Sunday Night and was amazed at the lengths that the women on the show took to show Flav how much they loved him. Many of them even went to the extremities of having sex with Flav. Now I know, you must be thinking...he has 6 kids so this sex thing isn't new to him, but I just could not picture him fathering that many kids..no matter how true the statement is. I am very disturbed by the way that the sistas are literally throwing themselves at this man or might I say his money. Most of them are striving for that fifteen minutes of fame just as the sister who got to fighting last night and was sent home. I think that we as women should not stoop so low to gain the attention of any man, because in the end.......A man isn't interested in the chick that throws herself at him and seems desperate. The only thing a real man could do with a woman of that caliber is screw her brains out and roll out! Let's just be real about this, even on the bachelor. Although all of the women are striving for the affection of this one guy, they always seem to go for the one who seems more sure of herself than the others. Through life I have noticed this by watching acquaintances, friends, even ME go out of their way for a man to prove herself and nine times out of ten they end up losing themselves. Ladies let's start to use our heads, let's start to Love ourselves and let's allow the MEN to step up to the plate instead of searching for the ballers and shot callers who don't even love themselves so the possibilities of loving you is out of the question. Educate yourselves, enlighten yourselves and most importantly LOVE YOURSELVES!!!! Vicskeyas- I read that last seasons Flavor of Love Finale was the highest rated show that VH1 has EVER had and you know that VH1 looked at that and had to do a spinoff-by doing Flavor of Love and Flavorette of Love (I wonder who the lady from last season will be...probably Hoopz or New York). But I believe VH1 searched the whole country looking for the most "dramatic characters" they could find. I have not seen the premiere but I have been hearing alot about it. I think women are throwing themselves at Flav to stay in the game and for camera time it's sad...but in the end VH1 will get their money and all the ladies will get 15 minutes of ridiculous fame. Some people love fame and money over loving themselves and that is so sad!
