Adventures of the 25 yr old Freshmen!!

Posted By: Aisha Williams on August 08, 2006 Well in a few weeks I will be entering college again. Being 25 and a mother of two I am going to feel like an old lady. I have to start from stracth, so I will be the senior citizen of the freshmen class. :) The only thing I keep thinking about is how I am going to blend in with the rest of the freshmens. I mean I have really made a commitment to finish school, I even quit my job (to my husband's dismay). I hope I can find someone who is almost in the same boat as myself. All things happen for a reason Sis. I was 26 when I started at FAMU... Also children are Gifts, i.e. Psalms 127:3-5 By the way, God gives all Inspiration, respectfully, anything against is not. "People can mean well but their spirit/spirits can be against You". I answered an email recently where a married Woman has a great business going but not full support of her husband, why? I bet the money You will make in near future won't be a problem... or maybe it will. I had this problem honestly with my Ex from college who was banking and I graduated making $7.50 per hour. I could not do what I wanted for her, but I did not see at the time, she saw my future and not the present... Pray on that Sis, Jeremiah 33:3,6. Also fairly I watched an episode of Girlfriends last night where Mya is now making it as an Author but her husband suported her and she had a problem with his dream to intern as a Pitcrew for race cars. And fairly this can be scary when thinking of family and I don't know the communication factor here. Financial Aid and Scholarships will help. I just posted a blog in relation to Scholarships. Also the Virtuous Woman of Proverbs 31:10-31 had full support, look at verses 28 and 31. I am not saying so, that's God's Word. Just my 2cents of well-meaning.
