Hi Adreena,

I'm somewhat confused at your immediate goal; however, from what I could gather, your first step is to determine whether you really want to go to college.
If your answer is, yes, I'd suggest that you look at your high school academic track record (easily done through your high school guidance counseling office). And, if you have anything over a 2.5 grade point average (GPA), you might be eligible for some type of grant (does not have to be paid back). Then, after doing a little research of your local or nearest HBCU, contact their admissions office and ask whether they could send you some information and/or a catalog about their institution; and also try to set up an on-campus tour. The tours are usually free and they are encouraged as to attempt to attract potential students.
As for student loans, some of us, including myself have had no other choice if we wanted to attend a particular college within a particular year). On the other hand, if you'd rather not have any loans, than working your way through or finding a rich relative/friend, who has a very giving nature, is your other option.
As for online courses, they exist and you could also do a search through google.com or whatever other search engine you'd prefer to find out about those that are offered. They aren't cheap, but they might be what you think is better suited for you.
BTW, it's not too late for you to apply for admission into a college, if you meet their requirements for admission, for the Spring 2007 semester, but I'm not sure how the housing would be for you, if you also needed such assistance.
Nevertheless, good luck on whatever you decide.
