Alcorn State Mourns the Loss of Its President

Posted By: LaToya Shields on August 20, 2006 Dr. Clinton Bristow, Jr. collapsed and died while jogging on the University's track on August 19, 2006. Flags have been placed at half mass on the campus and the employees and students have officially begun mourning his death. Bristow died two days before classes were scheduled to begin. Dr. Bristow introduced me to the other HBCU presidents without hesitation. Strong leader who definitely looked out where he could.
