It's hard to say goodbye!!!

Posted By: Ansley Merriweather on April 24, 2005 Man, this school year is almost over and I am feeling really sad. Being out on your own for 9 months is pure heaven. I really don't want to go home. I mean I love my folks and all but, I have a family here too and I am not ready to leave. I will be going to summer school three weeks after we get out so that is a plus but, I don't even want to be home that long. I have freedom at home but, it isn't the same as being here. My two best friends won't be with me and that will be very different............ Looking back on this year, all I can do is smile. I have been through so much mentally, physically and emotionally. I learned that there are other females out there that I can relate to and that they aren't all hatin' bit**es. I allowed myself to get emotionally attached to a male, something which I said I would do for a while.(Hell, it had been a long time since I'd been in a relationship) I fell in love yall. I really fell in love. Besides, my friends that is one thing that I will miss the most. A bit of advice to the upcoming freshman and upperclassmen....don't be too quick to judge. The people that you look down upon or shun because you don't like how they look or how they look at you can be the main people that will be there to lift you up when you need a lift.
