Shoes Are More Important?

I teach at an alternative school and each day I see my kids come to school with all the different types of Air Jordans you can think of. Surprisingly, this is not just at my school but all schools I know of. It is no wonder our kids cannot function academically because a large majority or our parents are concerned with style over substance. It is not only sad but depressing. A parent will not come to school to for academic problems but let their have on the wrong clothes and they come in a heartbeat. Our nation is steadily outsourcing jobs to other countries and our children are falling farther and farther behind. Parents wake up and stop rewarding failures! If you know a parent or a parent more concerned with style, correct this problem before it is everlasting too late!
