Where are all the REAL MEN?

Posted By: Amecia Nichell on October 20, 2006 Now, I've been single for about....6 months. At first it was ok, because when you come out of a bad relationship you feel good. But now I want to be in a relationship...a real relationship! I want to meet a decent guy...that's all I ask for!! A guy who is doing something with his life- either in school or working, respects women, likes to have fun, doesn't drink or get high all of the time, doesn't have kids by a bunch of women.....you know, a real decent guy! But oh no, I attract guys who don't know what they wanna do with their lives, or don't work or go to school, smoke all of the time, etc. And I'm a nice person, I'm cute, I'm in school, I don't have any kids, I don't smoke....I'm an all around good person! I just don't understand why I haven't met one of those great guys...the ones who are so good to u that u smile when u hear his name! The type of guy that calls just to say he misses u. The type of guy isn't too proud to tell his boys that he's in love. Where are those guys hiding at? real men arent hiding, sometimes when a man sees a beautiful woman doing things on her own and handling her business it can be intimidating not because they r strong black women but because women in that position do everything for themselves and dont need a man or jus may not have the time for 1.
