Have U Ever Been Ashamed?

Posted By: Claudia Jean-Baptiste on January 11, 2007 This is my question to all of yall folks out there.....Have u ever been a ashamed of who u are?.....(Now marinate on that for a second)...and have you ever been ashamed of your family to the point where u dont even claim most of them?....(Let that marinate some too now). Well yall, i cant say that I'm ashamed of who i am because i kno that im not goin to be in this certain predicament forever even tho it seems as if it is endless. But how about the family question tho? Family is where YOU come from. YOU meaning your morals, traditions, and even opinions on how u go about life. Should you ever be ashamed of your family and would you ever disclaim family as close as to your own sister or mother? How do yall feel about that? I dont think you should ever feel ashamed of your family but sometimes you jus cant help it.I mean everyone has their faults but sometimes it seems that everyone elses are so much bigger than yours.But at any rate you learn to accept it an move on because somethings you just cant change, afterall youll probably end up needing those family members in the end because they are your backbone!
