HOW TO FEEL? PT1

Posted By: Stephen Watts on January 23, 2007 LAST WEEK I STAYED UP TILL ABOUT 4AM. THEN I GOT A KNOCK ON MY DOOR. IT WAS MY BROTHER. HE WANTED TO TALK ABOUT MUSIC. SO WE DID. WE WERE TALKING ABOUT BEATS, BUT IT ENDED UP AS A SCHOOLING OF WHO SAMPLED WHO FIRST. IT'S GOING DOWN TONIGHT(HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE), BOBBY CALDELL AND WHAT YOU WON'T DO FOR LOVE. I KEPT DOWNLOAD MORE STUFF AND WE KEPT TALKING. THEN MY CONNECTION GOT INTERUPTED AND HE LEFT THE ROOM. I FIGURED SINCE THERE WASN'T ANYMORE TALK I SHOULD GO TO SLEEP THEN. I WAS IN BED AND A FEW MINS LATER I HEARD WHAT SOUNDED LIKE BANGING ON THE WAY. MY BROTHER KNOCKED ON THE DOOR AGAIN. THEN HE SAID "NEVERMIND IF YOU'RE ASLEEP." I ASKED ANYWAY WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. HE TOLD ME THAT HE WANTED TO ASK IF I COULD BRING HIM TO THE POLICE STATION TO TURN HIMSELF IN SO HE COULD BE IN COURT THE SAME DAY. AT FIRST I SAID I REALLY NEEDED TO SLEEP B/C I HAD WORK AT 10 AND IT WAS ALREADY 5:15. BUT A FEW MINUTES LATER I HAD MY CLOTHES BACK ON AND TOLD HIM TO GET READY. HE TOLD MY MOTHER WHAT HE WAS ABOUT TO DO, SHE THOUGHT THAT HE WAS ASKING HER, BUT HE EXPLAINED THAT I WAS TAKING HIM. RIGHT BEFORE I OPENED THE DOOR I ASKED HIM IF HE WAS SURE ABOUT THIS. HE SAID HE JUST WANTED TO GET IT OVER AND NOT HAVE TO WATCH HIS BACK ALL THE TIME.WE PROCEEDED. JUST AS THE DOOR CLOSED AND I STARTED MY WAY DOWN THE STEPS, HE STOOD AT THE DOOR FOR A FEW MOMENTS. I COULD ONLY IMAGINE WHAT HE WAS THINKING. I ASKED HIM ONCE AGAIN IF HE WAS SURE HE WANTED TO GO THROUGH WITH THIS. HE SHOOK THE PAUSE AND STARTED HIS WAY DOWN THE STEPS WITH ME.
