So I got accepted into Spelman :)

Posted By: Emcee copening on February 28, 2007 I'm originally from Chicago, but I moved to Southern California four years ago. I had no intentions of staying and going to school in Cali. Spelman was not one of my original choices until I received a letter from them in the mail. So I researched the school aside from the details I already knew..and fell in love lol. I want to major in Biochemistry and go on to Medical School. Spelman is the number 2 school in preparing students for med school..so it's perfect. I've been accepted into 6 schools and narrowed my choices down to University of Central Florida and Spelman. They are total opposites of each other. UCF is huge..and sooo nice..47,000 students. Spelman is small and so historical..2,100 students. It's a hard decision because I don't want to end up transferring. I will be at Spelman on Monday visiting to see if I like it enough to attend lol. I'm excited for college but scared at the same time. Traveling across the country to attend school without anyone that I know is going to be hard..so if you stay in those areas..get at me.
