My fiance and I just had a beautiful a little boy in January. He is now 7 1/2 weeks old. I thought that it would be hard trying to finish school, but it's really not. Im still in school, and enjoying my baby. Is there any young mommies and daddies who are experiencing the same thing as me?

He is sooo beautiful. Me and my husband are young parents ourselves. Our daughter will be 2 in 2 weeks. We were 18 when she was born and 19 when we got married. We started out both of us going to school at the same time but he wasnt sure what he wanted to do, so he's been out for a year now, and i will be done next year. it hasnt been too hard, but my husband is a huge help, and we dont live far from family either. A good thing about having a child and going to school is that it keeps me very focused. My family constanly remines me what i am in school for. I never take a semester off because my job depends on me going to school. so if i ever want to just take a semester off i remember i will get fired if i do. I'm not saying its easy as pie, my hands are definetly full, but God won't give you more than you can bare, always remember that and you will continue to push through the hard times when they come, and they will come. Congrats Congrats and you will be in my prayers, i am glad you are continuing with life and achieving your goals. Having a child doesn't mean you can't accomplish your goals, it make that goal more wonderful knowing you have someone to share that with. Take care and God Bless.
