The Client Executive Sales Representative is responsible for all activity in assigned accounts including generating sales leads, product sales, services sales, development of the client relationship at all levels in the client organization and client satisfaction. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: 1. Identify and close community hospital account HIS opportunities. Responsible for all components of a complex selling process to include, but not limited to: a. Arranging presentations b. Product demonstrations c. Site Visits d. Contract Negotiations 3. Conceptual selling skills are required 4. Manage time and resources effectively to meet territory sales objectives 5. Expertise in all aspects of product, service and industry issues 6. Organizational communication skills are a priority 7. Proficient in the use of automated territory management tools 8. Maintain industry and product knowledge and inform company of changing market conditions and competitive issues. 9. Identify and close sales opportunities in existing customers and coordinate activities with account managers. 10. Report sales activity to management 11. Contract negotiations. 12. Identify and coordinate activities with key selling influences. 13. 60-70% overnight travel required Job Qualifications/Requirements: Specialized Knowledge/Skills: - 5+ years successful healthcare information systems sales experience to hospitals - Big ticket healthcare sales experience ($250,000+ average deal) - Experience in long sales cycles (1+ years) - Comfortable selling at high levels in the healthcare market (CEO, COO, CIO, CFO level) -Verifiable experience exceeding large quotas ($1,000,000+) - Knowledge of strategies for hospitals - Knowledge of sales territory management (Siebel experience a plus) - Good negotiation, conflict management & customer service skills. - Ability to manage multiple, diverse projects and sales events simultaneously. - Knowledge of current information systems technology and of healthcare industry and trends. - Strategic sales account planning skills. - Ability to demonstrate consistent closing techniques throughout the sales cycle.
