Posted By: Jimmy Jones on April 09, 2007 LATEST INDUSTRY NEWS: 50 Cent noted last week he was changing the name of his upcoming album to "Curtis." An important note that may have gone over folk's head was Fif originally planned to call the album "Curtis SSK", with the SSK standing for Soundscan Killer. Here's another bone for all you hip-hop heads: Fif's album will feature a high-profile collaboration with a certain Caucasian singer who allegedly brought sexy back. Remember where you heard the news first, just before it's reported throughout the media! STREET RELEASE: Lil’ Wayne says that he and Juelz will release a mixtape for their anticipated "I Can’t Feel My Face" album, while the labels get their act together. During an interview with MTV, Wayne said the pair is waiting for the proper deal from labels, and in the meantime will give the streets a taste of what’s to come from the two. LOOKING GOOD, SMELLING GREAT!: Usher is the latest celeb to get his own fragrance. The Atlanta singer is teaming with Liz Claiborne Cosmetics for his own "smell good", to be released later this year. THE HOT SEAT: Troubled CBS on-air radio personality Don Imus - who made racist comments towards a group of women's NCAA players - will appear on Rev Al Sharpton's radio show today at 1 pm. Sharpton has been outspoken on the incident, asking that MSNBC remove the controversial radio rant, and Jesse Jackson has also joined the fray, with a planned protest taking place today at the company's corporate headquarters.
