I am truly overwhelmed by the positive response from everybody, so much so, that I wanted to take some time to respond to some of your e-mails in this week's blog. So, here we go… Dear Taj, I am so sorry about your dog Shannon. I am a dog lover, too, so I cried as if she was my own. You and Eddie are truly a beautiful, successful, and spiritual couple. Miracles and blessings to you and your family. - Latunya (Olive Branch, Miss.) Hi Latunya, Thank you! And thanks to everyone else who wrote and told me how much you felt for me when my beloved pug passed away. I still grieve for my Shannon Audrey, but I also know that she is in a better place and that her health has been restored. -Taj Dear Taj, I was just wondering, how does it feel to be married? - Claneisha (Fort Worth, Texas) Hi Claneisha, I love my husband! I swear I do! And married life is wonderful, except for when it comes to us working out together! As you saw in the last episode, Reality Blitz, where I tried doing the "EGX" (Eddie George Extreme) workout, we don't really click in the gym. He's just entirely too tough on me because he thinks that is the only way he can make me stronger. But, I constantly tell him that I grew up in Brooklyn, N.Y., and I don't need to be any stronger than I already am! For now, we have agreed to work out separately; this way we can remain lovers as well as best friends. -Taj Dear Taj, Since I live in Nashville, Tenn., I would like to know the name of your hairstylist and the address of the salon where you get your manicures and pedicures. Thank you. - Monique C. (Nashiville, Tenn.) Hi Monique… …and everyone else who e-mailed me about my hair. My hairstylist is Valerie Bridgeforth of Fine Art International Hair & Day Spa (www.finearthairandspa.com). My nail tech is John M. of Plush Nail Studio (www.plushnailstudio.com). -Taj Dear Taj, I commend you on your comments in regard to Lelee and her interview… you proved that a true lady does not need to make negative comments about issues such as that. Keep doing your thing and many blessings to you and your family. If you ever get a chance, please respond. I am undergoing treatments for breast cancer and always welcome a new friend to communicate with on MySpace. - Del-Rio (St. Louis) Hi Del-Rio, I'm sorry to hear that you are going through a struggle with cancer. I lost both of my parents to cancer, so I completely sympathize with you. I will check your MySpace page ASAP, so be on the look out for me! -Taj Dear Taj, Can you tell me how I can contribute to your cause for women dealing with domestic violence. Also, is there a Web site? - Flo H. (Kenosha, Wis.) Hi Flo, The V.I.P. foundation is gearing up to do more work on behalf of women and children suffering from domestic violence. Taj, I first want to say that you have a wonderful family. It's good to see a reality show, that actually shows reality. You're not always drowned in makeup, and trying to look like you just stepped out of a boutique and salon. You show the true side of being a wife and mother. You and your friends remind me of the people I hang out with. Just down to earth. That's what makes the show so good. Keep your head up. P.S. It does take awhile to lose weight, after you had a baby.
