OK...SO WUZ UP WITH THIS DUDE? I JUST DON'T GET IT.

Posted By: CeToya Jones on May 14, 2007 I'm the type of person that will take a chance on collecting friends.Let Me Repeat That. FRIENDS. This dude one of my friends introduced me to hasn't known me for more than a month and a half and is asking to marry me.Dead Serious. As far as i know about the dude is he's the type to rush into relationships with all of his feelings and emotions on the line. He's told me the number of women he's been with and compared to my relationship status i can't even make a comparision. I've told this dude i'm not into getting into serious relationships on the spot but yet he's persistant he's going to have me. Further more i'm not even attracted to him. I don't mind holding a conversation with him but it gradually leads to "SO WUZ UP WITH ME AND YOU" "YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU AND I DON'T CARE IF U DON'T SAY IT BACK" and blah blah blah and so on. Why can't he understand that he and i want different things. I've been in this predicament times before and seemed to wiggle my way out of it but this time i feel he's a little desperate and pre-stalker material. I don't beat around the bush about how i feel and what i want and i've been straight forward with him from day one. So it would be nice if some females hit me up and tell me how to handle this and no i'm not leaving out the fellas i need as much of your opinion as their's. So holla at me. Girl... Seems like you have a problem... Been there done that... Obviously he isn't understanding that you dont want to pursue anything other than a friendship so you need to tell him if he so called loves you, he needs to respect that you are not by any means going to rush into any relationships. Someone who loves someone respects the wishes of the other person. If he cant grasp the fact that you just are not that type of person to rush into serious relationships on the spot, then unfortunately there shouldn't be anything left to say but hi and bye. You dont want to string this dude along. Bcuz you dont want that stalker thing going on....NO NO NO....Obviously he has some insecurities bcuz it seems as if he feels as though he needs you to complete him and that most def aint flying.... I agree with all that was said. Only thing you can do is tell him. In his defense, theres nothing wrong with telling someone how you feel. The other person just has to show the same amount of respect for the other person and give a reply. If you say nothing then he will think what he wants.

I know just how you feel. Two years ago I was in the same situation. It went on for about 3 months with me trying to be nice and not hurt anyone's feelings. I had to just sit him down and break it down to him that I did not like him like that. Yeah he cried and everybody told me I was wrong. But why be in a relationationship that you don't feel comfortable in. That will drive you crazy like it did me. You just got to let him know. Break it down.
