A Tribute to the Cafe Ladies

The ladies who work in the Cafe who've been there for about 20 years, who are like a substitute grandmother while you're in school... The ones who know that you have the big exam this morning and slip a little extra onto your plate... Who always have a smile on their face and ask if everything's OK if you weren't in the cafeteria yesterday... Who see the young men and women who are about something, and don't hesitate to tell you how proud they are... That can recognize that you're out of breath from running all the way from your statistics class on the other side of campus, and let you in even though it's closing time... Who can make a full diagnosis when something's going on in your life and you could use some encouragement, in the fifteen seconds it takes you to walk into the cafe line...
