Rapper Foxy Brown Headed To Court In Sept; Faces One Year In Prison
|
Posted By: Jimmy Jones on May 23, 2007 A little over three months after Foxy Brown’s brawl in a Florida beauty shop, the female rapper may soon face a jury that will determine her fate as a result of battery charges she received stemming from the incident. A Broward County Court official told celebrity news Website, TMZ.com that Brown has decided not to plea out during a hearing earlier today (May 18). In mid-February, Brown allegedly went into a rage when an employee told her the beauty shop she was in was closed and that she had to leave. According to a Florida arrest report, Foxy Brown refused to leave, threw hair glue and spat on the employee. The arrest report also stated that when Foxy Brown was approached by a police officer outside of the shop she swatted the officer away and swung her arms before being forcibly subdued and arrested. Since Brown did not plea, she is expected back in court on Sept. 24, where she faces up to a year in jail on the misdemeanor battery charges.
