Deadly Shooting Outside Club 112

Posted By: Jimmy Jones on June 12, 2007 Atlanta, GA - Atlanta Police are investigating what happened in a deadly shooting outside Club 112 in Midtown Atlanta. Investigators identified the victim as 26-year-old Randy Griffin of Atlanta. Witnesses near the scene reported hearing 5 to 6 gunshots in the parking lot around 3 o'clock Sunday morning. Griffin was seen running from the parking lot. He collapsed on a side walk and died at the scene. Police are talking to witnesses and examining evidence trying to determine if the incident stemmed from an attempted armed robbery. The shooting happened on the club's last day of business.
