Your responses were taken in to deep consideration, and are the driving force behind this conversation starter. I want to advise one of the most important things to all of us who are currently building careers, and those of us who are about to leave school this year and begin in the "realworld". HOME OWNERSHIP IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS!!!!" Over the last four years we have seen an increase in the number of homes being built across the country. I know in Charleston, SC where my company is we have been building houses like they were a new fad, and although the media says the market has slowed down, we continue to build homes at an alarming rate. With that being said I want to put this on your minds: the media which is controlled by those who make decisions FOR our elected officials have cause a scare in the home buying industry only in the resale market for older homes. (Five or more years) Now the reason for this is because so many minorities took advantage of the housing boom and are now living much better than we were four years ago. So I say to everyone out there...BUY REAL ESTATE NOW!!!! If you are about to graduate frm college, DO NOT, I repeat..DO NOT PURCHASE THAT NEW BMW, LEXUS, or MERCEDES you have been dreaming of for the last four years! Think about it like this...if you live off campus, you are helping someone else improve their bottom dollar...buy a rental property right near your school and improve yours!
