NCCU Launches New University Website

( Durham, N.C.) North Carolina Central University (NCCU) announced today the launch of its redesigned website www.nccu.edu, which offers students and visitors a one-stop resource for campus services, real-time news and information. The redesigned website has a user-friendly, needs-based layout, allowing for easier navigation. Enhancements to the site were a direct response to students, faculty, staff and alumni feedback.

“The new website is designed to serve as the university’s key recruiting tool,” said Greg Marrow, the university’s chief information officer.

The new version features an eight-minute video complete with student testimonials, and a series of calendars for academics, athletics and other campus constituents. The new website, www.nccu.edu, gives the university significant new features and functionality for communicating with prospective students, current students, parents, alumni, faculty and staff.

Another new feature: My Eagles Online, or myEOL, a new campus portal accessed by using a login and password will allow the university to deliver highly personalized information to university constituencies. Other homepage enhancements include updated campus maps and revised biographies of faculty and staff members.

To view all the new site features, visit www.nccu.edu.
