How many is too many and at what age?

I have been talking to few of my males friends and the topic of sexual partners comes up. How many is too many? If a guy starts at 15 and is now 20, and he has had 18 partners, is that cool? Personally I think that's a bit much; that's 18 people in 5 years! How about 17 partners within a 3 year span and you're currently 19? What would you say is too many for both males and females? Hey girl, I know it's double standard but I think more than one partner before the age 18 is too many for a female bc the male she was with probably has had more partners than her.

i agree and also remember that in theory when sleeping with a person your also sleeping with everyone else they have. And when you think about it from that stand point I think it might make someone think twice about being with many partners.

Whoa whoa whoa, Makiva, now 18 years old with 1 partner is a little unrealistic. Don't get me wrong teenage s*x is a problem that afflicts our society, but when your 18, you're grown!!!I think at 18, if you are a female and you have more than three or four partners, then you need to reevaluate your s*x life. And for the fellas, well THAT is a whole 'nother story.

i just dont understand why females these days feel that they have to sleep with every guy they date. Not only are males and females being unsafe but if they do everything with everyone what is left to explore when you get married or you get in a serious relationship.

Azania, I said before 18. Neways it's never really good to have mutiple partners neway, especially with the high std and hiv and aids rates in the young black community. I would think twice about everybody I give my all too.

At age 18, I think that if you have to use two hands to count how many partners you've had then it's too many. Once you move past that ten mark it's just outrageous.
