|
Posted By: DEE A on September 18, 2007 Coming soon in 2008, the debut of ENCORE Cheer and Dance Championships! ENCORE plans to donate a portion of the proceeds from their competitions to help HBCU cheer and dance programs. The proceeds are intended for the use of HBCU cheer and dance teams to recruit competitive talent and use resources to help them compete in some of the more competitive arenas that could make their cheer and dance programs a revenue entity for their schools. Also at selected ENCORE competitions, HBCU teams will have the opportunity to win book scholarships for eligible current and future team members. Teams may also be eligible to win assistance for cheer and dance training skills and choreography. More information will be available on their soon to be launched web site www.encore-championships.com. You may also contact ENCORE Cheer and Dance Championships at encore-championships@comcast.net.
