June Dametra Streets was crowned Miss Voorhees College 2007-2008 during Coronation ceremony on September 21, 2007. June is a senior Biology major from Upper Marlboro, Maryland and a 2004 graduate of Elizabeth Seton High School. June is a dedicated member of the Honors College, Student Support Services Program and Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society. June served as a peer tutor/mentor with the Freshman Year Experience Program and worked with the Student Government Association for the past two years. After graduation she plans to obtain a Master of Science degree in Nursing with a specialization in Women's Health and Nurse-Midwifery. She is the daughter of Joy Smithers Streets and Melvin Streets.
