I'm Mad As Hell And I'm Not Going to be Quiet About it!

Posted By: Pearl Jr on October 01, 2007

I’M MAD AS HELL,
AND I’M NOT GOING TO BE QUIET ABOUT IT!

I just saw a news report about Mary Winkler, you know the innocent looking White wife of a preacher, who confessed to killing her husband because he kept telling her she made a mistake by investing their money in a scam and losing it!

Can you image, the selfish rage of someone who believes they have the right to do wrong and not be told about it?

For God’s sake, this woman shot her husband, the father of her 3 children as he lie in bed, because he voiced his discontentment about her losing thousands of dollars that he earned. I guess she was tired of hearing about it, so she killed him. Then she packs up the kids and takes off to, God’s knows where, and went missing for two weeks.

Well folks, this woman is out on bail! Of course, forget the fact that she has proven to be a flight risk; she’s White with a quiet demeanor. Yea, she’s out on a $750,000 bond, which is just really $75,000 cash and someone’s property is in hock for the balance. This murderer gets out because she has a soft voice and a pixie haircut??

This is White Justice and White privilege! Black justice is being locked up in jail for 25 years for being addicted to drugs, or worse yet, for being Black and worthless enough that the prosecutor assigned to the case made a backroom deal because he had a date that night and wanted to leave early. Even the cable network that supports White people to the fullest, Fox News, is baffled over the Mary Winkler release.

And oh, let’s not forget about Andrea Yates who systematically drowned her 5 adorable children because she was tired of taking care of them. She gets convicted, and on appeal is found NOT GUILTY due to some insanity BS—she is a murderer, period. What about the White woman who disappeared because she didn’t want to marry her fiancé and lied to say Black and Latino people abducted and raped her because she didn’t want to marry the man that loved her. And let’s not forget the beautiful blonde teacher, who was also someone’s wife, who rapes little boys that got a slap on the wrist for being a convicted pedophile.

I mean DAMN, if Black women only had a man who loved, honored, and cherished them, we’d be so sweet that to just look at us, they’d get cavities. What a dream: a man that cares enough to marry the woman who he is having sex with, a man that is responsible enough to be the provider and protector, a man that is in the home to raise his children. I’ll bet the average Black woman would love to change lives with the average White woman.

Even beautiful, successful, rich and married Brooke Shields complained about post-partum depression and used that as an excuse to not bond with her baby, because she simply wasn’t feelin’ it.

Let Brooke change places with single-mother Shiquita in Compton who is on public assistance and the baby daddy denies the baby and refuses to improve his status because he doesn’t want to pay child support even if it is proven the baby is his. Come on White women, your lack of respect for how good you got it is getting on my nerves.

We, Black women are being called hos and bi-at-ches via the media constantly. We are being labeled angry Black women because we sometimes show our frustration with being overwhelmed by being the man and the woman in life.

I don’t recall any Black woman being this unappreciative for simply receiving the basics of life like having love and a provider and protector in the home. Black women have to deal with disrespect like in the animated series “Where My Dogs At?”, in which Black women are being shown on all four limbs crawling while being on Snoop Dogg’s leash and taking a crap in public.

Black women live hard lives as single mothers who have no one that loves them, nor a father to take care of them or their offspring. Black women are dawgged all the time with cheating ass men and dealing with the cowardly downlow man who passes on the deadly HIV/AIDS disease (73% of all new HIV/AIDS cases are Black women and we aren’t giving it to ourselves—50% of gay and bi-sexual black men have HIV/AIDS). Even with all the disregard we deal with, we aren’t bold enough to be shooting, killing, abandoning, raping, and complaining like that.

Yes, racism is growing faster and faster everyday. We, Black women are supposed to stay quiet about real issues and not voice our pains and struggles, but White women get to kill their husbands and children because they simple don’t want something hard to do or be irritated anymore. To add insult to injury, Mrs. Winkler has a freakin job waiting for her at a dry cleaner while she awaits trial. I wonder how many Black men being released from jail have that?

I’m so tired of White privilege and Black pain that I’m no longer holding my tongue. I’m going to say what I feel to hopefully be heard that America is turning back time towards racism.

Yea! I’m the author of “Black Women Need Love, too! Exposing the Conspiracy to Keep Black Women Without Love”. We may not be able to change the Middle East crisis, but we most certainly can change the way we relate to one another. This book gives you powerful techniques and strategies so that you can have the happiness, security, and love that life has to offer.

I’m calling all my sistahs and brothas that give a damn to support my efforts to bring attention to the blatant discrimination that is prevalent in today’s society.

Be informed and please order a copy of my new book, “Black Women Need Love, too!” Available on amazon.com. It could be the most important book you ever read.

Black folks, playtime is over and the streetlights have come on. It’s time to go inside and take care of home.

I agree with you on white women not appreciating the life of privilege they have. But, I took offense when you made the generalization about black men. There are a lot of good black men out here, doing the right thing and taking on responsibility.

Women, don’t ignore the warning signs (turn on the gaydar) when you meet someone and don’t be so quick to let someone hit it raw (sorry for the language). Take responsibility for your choices/actions. Me personally, if you act like one, you're treated like one. So act, like you want to be treated. Don’t get it twisted; men are men all races included.
