Posted By: Guest Visitor on October 13, 2007 What’s Up Who’s Got Jokes Fans?! First, let’s give it up for the production crew at TV One. My mother was in the audience for my episode in Atlanta, but they showed her laughing at a show taped in Texas. How the HELL they pull that off I don’t know!!! Y’all just can’t use my momma like that. Here we are at Episode 6 with the contestants I call the “Angry 4.” Why do I call these guys the “Angry 4?” These guys were supposed to originally tape in Atlanta. So they invited all of their family and friends out to the show. But, due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control they had to wait and tape in Texas. You talking ‘bout some backstage cussin? LOL!!! All you heard was – “I can’t believe this @#$%. I invited my whole @#%$#@ -family to this show. Now I gotta wait two more days to perform in @$#%* Texas. I don’t have any family in @#%* Texas. What the @#$%*- am I suppose to do now?” I’m glad the producers didn’t hear this. They probably would have said, “How about you take your @#$%* azz home and not tape at all?” LOL!!! I know Marshall Brandon probably still cussin. The judges robbed him on the first round -- he was funny as hell to me. The audience liked him also. I guess that’s what happens when you hire judges from the Texas School for the deaf. I laughed at they way he denied the scores were his. It was like a baby daddy episode of Maury Povich. He said, “Those scores can’t be mine. No, y’all have me mixed up with somebody else. Dem scores don’t even look like me Maury!” At least he walked away as the wild card winner. He did some jokes about thugs acting out of character. How do you call yourself a gangsta, but you at the club dancing to Beyonce’s “Freakum Dress?” LOL!!! I saw it at the club with my own eyes. Rion Evans had two good sets. He joked about the cost of living adjustment moving from Chicago to LA. I could relate because I went through the same thing moving from Mississippi to D.C. When I first moved here, I thought could afford a house inside the city – Man, crack houses cost $300,000 up here! My realtor said I was being petty about one house, but there was a man smoking a crack pipe in the basement. I told my mom the other day, “I’m bout to move to the trailer parks.” Call me po-black trash, but I bet my rent cheaper dammit!!! Suga Bear was upset with the judges too. I thought he was about to go postal. He asked me if I thought they judged me fairly. I answered like Coach Dennis Green, “They were who we thought they were.” I liked his jokes about how black people treat their dog vs. white people. He said white people feed their dogs what they suppose to eat like ALPO. He said black people feed their dog leftovers like spaghetti and collard greens. Case in point, Michael Vick. My barber says Vick signed a new shoe endorsement with Hush Puppies. If he stole that joke, go fight him. Not me!!! The winner was Justin Mitchell. You can tell Justin will be good actor one day. He did a lot of characters in his set. In one episode he played a dog, a cat, a monkey, a gay dude, and an African. WOW! I like the impression he did of the African boy on the discovery channel. Funny!!! I could make a joke here but it didn’t make it past the censors so you’ll just have to sit back and imagine how funny it was. The further we into competition; I see Shawn Morgan and K-Dubb battling it out at the end. These are two of my personal favorites. Make sure you tune in next week and set a season pass on your Tivo!!!! That’s been my time.
