I agree with Michael. Don't choose a school for popularity or name. Research the school and make sure the school has the major that you want to go into. Maybe even visit the campus before going, that's something that I didn't do. Most of the HBCU's do about the same things anyway when it comes to events and parties so when you choose, make sure your choice is for the right reasons. Good luck!
