Hate Crimes

Posted By: Duane Ward on October 16, 2007 Why isn't it a hate crime to hang a noose at someone's job, home or in a public place? It is a tactic that was used by the KKK, along with cross burnings. In addition, most of these hateful and racist acts were accompanied by lynchings, burnings and other forms of torture and murder. The sharp rise in these "hate crimes" involving nooses are directly related to young informed African-Americans demanding their civil rights. Stand strong and stay united.
