The Eighteenth Annual Brown / Parrish Black College Bus Tour. The
tour is one of the must popular Bus Tours on the East Coast. High
School students from throughout the country are enrolling in this
tour. Over the past years, the BROWN / CHARILE PARRISH BLACK COLLEGE
BUS TOUR has placed hundreds of High School students into college.
The tour has also helped developed and reinforced the bond between
young adults and their families.

The BROWN / PARRISH BLACK COLLEGE
BUS TOUR is an annual bus tour that allows inner city youth the
opportunity to visit twenty-seven (27) black colleges. The tour
provides a vehicle whereby high school students can receive the
opportunity to discover an educational community outside of their
own. The tour also encourages students to consider attending a black
college and guides students on how to seek financial assistance. Over
the years, the Charlie Parrish Black College Bus Tour has received
support from Ambassador Andrew Young, Mayor David Dinkins, Borough
President Claire Shulman, BET, WLIB AM, WBLS FM, The Queens
Chronicle, Local 1182, Allstate Insurance, Verizon, Citibank along
with several national and local sponsors.
The next orientation will be on February 12, 2005 at York College 94-
20 Guy R Brewer Blvd, Queens New York. Registration begins at 10:00am
and the presentation will follow.
