Posted By: Eddie Newton on November 03, 2007

Alexander Community Marching Band is forming NOW!

If you ever played in marching band, even if it's been many years since you've marched and you are out of high school, please consider joining the ACMB. We are looking for members who want to rekindle their musical memories and want to have a BLAST. Literally!

Come to our next organizational meeting:

WHERE: Alexander Jr. High School Cafeteria
713 Beauregard St.
Brookhaven, MS 39601

WHEN: December 1, 2007 TIME: 10:30am-11:30am
FOR MORE INFORMATION:
Call 601-321-0566 / 601-397-0905; OR VISIT www.alexanderpanther.com

This is YOUR chance to be in on the ground floor of the Marching Band that will be made up of former High School, Jackson State and Alcorn band members.

We are seeking members from Brookhaven, McComb, Hazlehurst, Monticello, Jackson, Fayette and Franklin County areas or anyone wiling to come to Brookhaven for rehearsals.

Whether you play in band (woodwind, percussion, brass), are in color guard (flags, riffles) or a majorette (dance team), why not take the opportunity to be an integral part of local history.

WE ALSO NEED PEOPLE WHO WANT TO PARTICIPATE OUTSIDE THE PERFORMING GROUP.

*We need people to work in the music library, to handle instruments and equipment, to be in charge of uniforms, and to make phone calls.
*We need people to coordinate concerts and rehearsals.
*We need an executive director to handle the non-profit organization business
*We need an accountant and a legal advisor.

TOGETHER LETS MAKE HISTORY FOR MISSISSIPPI
