Stranger in a familiar place

Posted By: dominic purnell on November 14, 2007 Been a while and i guess you could say i deserve it. BUt you could say i'm also a stranger in my own home.Yeh i'm going home but only for a break. I wish the time goes by fast so i can get back to actually come back home. BUt at the same tiei wish it goes by slow so i can spend that quality time with my family. It seems like you have to go away for a while to actually appreciate the things God has given you even the more. It's funny cause i remember in high school i said i couldn't wait to leave and get out on my own. DOn't get me wrong i'm doing fine on my own my parents have taught me everything they could while i was at home but there's nothing liek going back and feelin like a kid again. NO matter how old you get God will make you yearn for your mother warm embrace and your siblings company. It's like I'm a stranger in my own house. Things have changed and so have i . SO when i get home i hope i can become fimilar with home again cause i know it's going to be a ong time befroe i get back to it. i just pray that God allows me to spend quality uninteruppted time at home. Don't worry about that. Things will work out for you and I don't like Cookman but I know one day I will appreciate it after I begin my journey through teaching. But please young brotha do not stay away from school to long.
