Who's Got Jokes?: Episode 13

You’ve just witnessed episode 13, the Who’s Got Jokes Super Bowl where two of the best comedians in the country -- Shawn Morgan and Tyler Craig -- battled it out. Y’all had to laugh at Rodney Perry in that James Brown outfit. Hilarious! I personally thought he looked like a young Al Sharpton! I’m glad the brother recovered from that split, too. Speaking of James Brown . . . have you ever noticed that every time they start making a movie about one of our great Black entertainers they die before the movie comes out. Think about it…Ray Charles… started making the movie . . . then he died . . . Richard Pryor . . . died . . . James Brown died. So I know Al Green is somewhere saying, “Don’t ya’ll make no damn movie about me!!!!!” Whether y’all laughed or not, I’m funny as hell to me. Shawn and Tyler played Three Card Monty to see who would go first. Shawn lost the card game so he had to go first. I laughed the most when he said White people care about too much stuff that doesn’t concern them. Like dolphins getting caught in tuna nets. He said, “I’ll eat a dolphin. I’ll season it like catfish!” LOL!!! He said, “that’s some ballin Jay-Z ain’t doing yet.” See, Jay-Z got the same effect on some people like Oprah. What ever he do or endorse people run out and try it, too. So as soon you hear Jay-Z on a track talking ‘bout eating dolphin meat, you’ll hear idiots in the fish market . . . ”Hey man, y’all got any fresh flipper in this joint?” LOL!!! It just don’t sound right to eat some animals. Imagine if someone asked you over to eat some flamingo with penguin on the side. You’d ask them had they lost their damn mind! Then it was Mr. Moral of Story’s turn. Tyler had a very good set also. He has the kinda of jokes that you just had to be there to understand what the hell I’m talking about. Tyler joked about the bad traffic in L.A. He asked, “Why the hell is traffic bad at 3:00 in the morning . . . and who the hell at home with the kids?!” I’ve visited L.A., and I know what he’s talking about. People out there drive aggressive as hell. It can be an emergency and they won’t even let the paramedics pass. Like, “I see yo flashing lights, I hear yo sirens, but you still ain’t getting pass me dammit !!!” I think Shawn and Tyler both had good sets, so it’s hard for me to make a prediction but if I had to put money on it I’d roll with Shawn Morgan to win it all. As a comedian, I just enjoyed his jokes a little more. Remember I said this in my second blog. Anyway, it’s up to you now -- please vote for your favorite comedian!!!!!
