Della (Dellenor) Miles

Posted By: Frederick Roberts on December 22, 2007 Della Miles began singing at 3 and enhanced her vocal stylings while a student at Prairie View A&M University, where she eared the Bachelors Degree in 1988. Dellenor was Miss PVAMU and 4th Runner to Miss Texas in 1984 and performed with the famed Charles Gilpin Players, directed by C. Lee Turner. In 1990, Della moved from Houston to LA to pursue her career following her own path ethos: "there is no one rule in life - I live day by day". The youngest of 6 (3 brothers and 2 sisters), Della is the pride and joy of the family. Miles exudes graceful power through her performance, which was demonstrated in her starring role as Ella (Sisterella). Currently recording in Germany, she will elevate your soul, as her harmonies tunefully awaken your spirit - backed by orchestral melodies and the angelic whisperings of a beautiful choir. "I'm touched by music that actually says something - musical stories". Della has worked with many of her greatest inspirations - Joshua Kadison, Stevie Wonder and Whitney Houston.
