i am in that situation right now and believe or not, me and my ex husband do get along. but no it" not necessary or even acceptable to be in conversations everyday. we do not have babies. so there really is no need for all that.

I've kept in thouch with my ex only because of my daughter. As she grew up he talked with her. Me only when needed. Even when he wasnt supporting her. Now she's 21 and he helps her out. We may go out to eat every so often. he's real close to the Fam so he's always at my moms gatherings. We dont have no beef, and I had to except him for him even while he let me struggle as a single mom. Court case no good if the brother is getting paid under the table and self construction/handy man. Heller as Madear would say, LOL
