She is a senior Interdisciplinary studies major studying English: Professional Writing, Communications: Print Journalism, and History: Black World Studies. Upon graduation, she desires to complete two magazine editorial internship(fall/spring) and then pursue a doctoral degree in Women's Studies. Her career aspiration is to become a senior writer for Essence Magazine. As Miss Oakwood, she will facilitate programs encouraging personal development and an expansion of learning for global cultures. She hails from Germantown, Maryland. Congratulations the Oawkood University Queen for 2014.Being that Oakwood Is a Christian Institution all incoming students should have to take College 101 for Success if they are not doing so all ready and Professional Life Skills 101 before the exit for graduation, both courses consisting of academic, social, personal and professional business Christian etiquette, based on teachers of books like Dr. and Susan Baker former President and First Lady of Oakwood University have written, including such community service books by NAPS and Making Ends Meet Financial Planning for the Christian Family as they inter learn and depart to serve in kindness, truth and purity.
