HBCU's on ESPN

Posted By: E. Daniel on February 10, 2008 Was it not good to see two basketball games on ESPN saturday that featured HBCU's. Since the SWAC and MEAC are not "power" conferences ESPN did not exclude them from their "Rivals Week" telecast. The Southern v Gramling game had all the drama of "March Madness". It was availale without going to the ESPNU permium channel that usually get allocated to showing games between HBCU's. I hope the viewership was so great that ESPN will see the audience appeal and start showing HBC's on a regular basis.
