RELATIONSHIPS!!

Posted By: on May 17, 2005 I know i don't usually comment on this sort of thing, but I think i'm noticing a pattern, not from my own experiences but from friends etc. When young women and me and break up, and its usually the guy breaking things off, the girl is upset and doesn't quite understand why? Now i'm talking about relationships that end in absence of cheating and that type of stuff. I'm talking about just straight up break ups. Now in these cases, usually then Man is to blame for this, he is INFACTUATED with the girl which really pans its self as Love, but it is not. And even he'll think it is love, and do the things that man does when he loves a girl, and for the first few months, or even weeks, he's like the greatest guy you've ever met. And then, woman finally start to come around, and they no longer like they guy, they find that they love him, but sooner or later, while her love is warming up, his infactuation is dying out. And my only suggestion to that is, MEN, take it slow and don't try to rush. I know ladies sometimes you feel as though "where is this coming from, I didn't go after him in the first place, he came after me. He took me out and did all of these things to pursue me, and now that he got me, he's uninterested?" Well i don't think its because of the thrill of the chase, i just think men truly fall in and out love quickly, and so i just think that men should slow down and really learn all there is to know about a girl, and actually be her friend first, A GOOD ONE, not one that bothers them sexually and tries to get at them. Personally I feel like this, I am not quick to give my heart away. I grew up around a lot of guys and they taught me to "hold on to my heart". Not every guy I date or "talk to" is worth my love and they d*** sho ain't worth me giving my body to. I am a firm believer that love takes time. I love you is one thing but being in love with someone is a completely different thing. Love may not take years to aquire but to me it definately doesn't happen over night. Some guys are just not the loving type and the girl that they are with may make them feel like they have to love them. Some females feel like they just have to be loved if the guy just buys them a few things. A GOOD MALE FRIEND isn't hard to find. Many females have them right under their noses but they won't open their eyes to see them because they are too busy picking out their imperfections. Not saying that it is just the females but sometimes they can be annoying. (Yeah I'm a FEMALE and I am saying this but I have a lot of male friends so I have a little well a lot of insight). They may call too much text too much and just come around too much. I feel like this if these ladies just hold their hearts a little closer to themselves then they wouldn't have that problem.........but then again you can't help who you fall in love with. UMMM HMMMMPH---You are speaking the truth. I am currently in a situation where me and my Ex ( he doesn't know it yet) are in a battle of communication. I do feel that he pursued the hell out of me, late nights on the phone, telling me of my beauty, listening to my secrets, and then, one day---he was a new Man. what the hell happenned? i need your male insight!

Hey Jarred! I saw that you said women are really stingy when it somes to complimenting, well you are a very attractive brutha. I have no problem complementing anyone,lol. And I agree with what you were saying about women giving their hearts away so easy. I was one of those females who feel in love so quick & easy. And in the end I always ended up getting hurt. So us women really need to start back palying hard to get & actually make him work for our heart. I notice that guys appreciate it more when we play hard to get. Correct me if im wrong Jarred;)
