Posted By: Jehan Bunch on June 30, 2008 Regular full time instructor in emergency medical services (e0805-22) Job Description: Under the direction of the EMS Program Director will serve as an Instructor in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program. This includes program and curriculum development, planning, implementing, and evaluating learning experiences for EMS students in theory, laboratory and clinical settings. Duties also include teaching theory, lab, and clinical courses. Attending required meetings, engaging in meaningful professional development, assessment activities and committee work. Must maintain current knowledge of EMS practices, instructional methodologies and assessment techniques. Salary: Based on a 12 Month Contract, 3 Semesters teaching; $51,765 with Bachelor's Degree; $54,124 with a Master's Degree; $56,484 with a PHD Qualifications/ Requirements: Must be a registered Paramedic holding either a current New Mexico or national license. Two years recent field experience at the paramedic level. Two years teaching experience in an accredited paramedic program or ALS provider service. Ability to relate to and instruct a non-traditional, diverse student populations. Deadline for application: 6/24/2008 by 5pm.
