Posted By: chioma adaku-griffin on July 30, 2008 Nashville, Tennessee----For the first time in American history, we have an opportunity to put a African-American in office for the Presidential Cabinet. Statistics have stated that 80% of students at HBCUs are registered to vote but we know the numbers are a lot higher. HBCU Fund will be participating with several grassroots organization to conduct a National Presidential debate. Please email us at hbcufund@gmail.com if you are interested in participating. It is also very important to remember that if you are not registered to vote in the county you are attending college, you must request request an absenteeism ballot for your Registrar's office in the county where you live. Please log onto our site at www.hbcufund.org to find out the last date for registration in your area.
