Posted By: Nolan Hymon on September 03, 2008 Giving Alcorn the business on a recent trip to Lorman, Miss. ASU is a beautiful campus, and we (HBCU'S) are all united in the desire to educate. We traveled to Vicksburg and on to Lorman to eat at The Country Store. This place is touted to have the best Fried Chicken in the country. If you are ever driving on U S Highway 61,1/2 way between Vicksburg and Natchez do yourself a favor and try Mr. D's fried chicken & soul food, it is mighty good. The Blackberry Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream is also a plus. Don't blink or you will miss it. Tell Mr. D Nolan said hello.
