SOMETIMES WE DOWNGRADE OURSELVES OR, IN FALSE HUMILITY, WE FAIL TO ACTUALLY AND FAIRLY TAKE AN UNBIASED LOOK AT OURSELVES. OUR GOD SELF, CREATED IN GOD'S IMAGE AND LIKENESS, IS MANY WONDERFUL THINGS. THIS SELF IS ENDOWED WITH A MIND THAT IS WISE, QUICK, DECISIVE. THIS SELF IS FILLED WITH EVER-RENEWING LIFE AND VITALITY. SOMETIMES WHEN WE LOOK IN A MIRROR, WE MAY SEE OURSELVES AS TOO THIN, TOO FAT, TOO THIS OR TOO THAT. WE MAY BE CRITICAL OF OUR ACTIONS, THE WAY WE EXPRESS OURSELVES, OUR ATTAINMENTS, OUR LIFE. WE MAY LOOK AT SOME OTHER PERSON AND WISH WE WERE LIKE HIM OR HER. ALL THE WHILE WE ARE MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD! OUR BUSINESS IS TO EXPRESS THAT IMAGE INOUR OWN SPECIAL WAY. OUR PRAYER TODAY WILL HELP US TO BE THE SELF WE WERE CREATED TO BE. GENESIS 1:27= SO GOD CREATED MAN IN HIS OWN IMAGE...MALE AND FEMALE HE CREATED THEM. THINK GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF THIS WEEK, CHARLES B. Willy you are so right! In addition to Gen 1:27, verse 31 Daddy says He saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good! He is not a man that He should lie.
